Refused planning permission? Resubmissions and appeals in South London
If your application was refused, you have options. We review the decision notice, tell you honestly whether it can be rescued, and design the scheme that gets it through.
A refusal is not the end. The decision notice lists the reasons, and each is a question the council is asking. Sometimes the answer is a modest redesign; sometimes the officer was wrong and an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate is the right route.
Within 12 months of a refusal you can usually resubmit a revised scheme with no further application fee. Householder appeals must be lodged within 12 weeks of the decision. We will tell you which is right for you within a few days of seeing the notice.
